Broadford Community Garden Funding

Muirhall Energy welcomed to opportunity to meet with Christine David and Sarah Mcinnes at the Broadford Community Garden to celebrate their recent success at our Quarterly Funding Panel.

The community funding that Broadford and Strath Community Company has received towards the community garden has enabled the part-time employment of a local gardener, Sarah.

The ongoing project focusses on caring for and improving the community garden. There are several volunteers from the community that also contribute to the maintenance of the area. The group are hoping to attract more volunteers in hope it will foster a sense of local pride and ownership of the garden.

The funding for the this project was allocated through one of our Quarterly Funding Panels, in connection with our proposed Glen Ullinish II Wind Farm.
