Support for proposed Priestgill Wind Farm

I support the proposed Priestgill Wind Farm, on the following grounds: (tick all that apply)

Climate Emergency - we must act to move away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy production for the sake of future generations

Climate Emergency - project will generate clean, greenenergy to power homes

Community Commitment - The project will return money for the community over its lifetime

Community Commitment - The additional offer of up to 10% community shared ownership in the project would greatly increase the return for the local area

Employment Opportunities - Job opportunities during construction for local contractors

Employment Opportunities - maintenance staff will be needed on site for the lifetime of the project

Natural Environment - The extensive habitat management plan includes native tree planting, habitat improvement and bog restoration and construction of paths for recreational use

Rural Communities - Traditional farming will continue alongside the development which in turn will support rural families and businesses
