Border Riding for the Disabled Funding
Borders Riding for the Disabled Association offers disabled children and adults the therapeutic benefits of horse riding and working with horses.
Established 57 years ago, the dedicated team of volunteers, led by Susie Elliot, offers these service users the chance to feel the joy of connecting with a wonderful horse or pony and supports both physical and mental well-being by building their strength, confidence and sense of achievement.
We’re thrilled that our community investment fund has been able to support the team with blacksmith services, feed bills, and the upkeep of their purpose-built arena at Monteviot, near Jedburgh.
