Muirhall Energy are very proud of staff member Jason Morin winning a prestigious Scottish Renewables, Young Professionals Green Energy [Communicator] Award. Jason joined Muirhall fresh out of University and has grown in his role over the last two years.

This award is presented to an individual who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to achieve positive results for the industry or a company, such as enhancing it’s image or reputation, securing changes in government policy, or other successful outcomes.

Jason’s ability to communicate confidently and fairly with communities close to wind farm developments has made him an asset to Muirhall Energy. One testimonial from a resident, submitted with his nominations, says:

“I always found Jason approachable, professional, and would happily recommend him as a credit to the renewables industry in the often fraught area of windfarm community liaison.”

This talent has enhanced the image of both Muirhall Energy and the renewables industry in general, meaning fewer objections, easier consenting and ultimately a happier outcome for all.

The awards event is held every year by Scottish Renewables at the Glasgow Science Centre to recognise the achievements of young people in the renewables industry. Muirhall Energy have a history of supporting young talent in the industry and have previously had 3 finalists and 1 winner – Peter Marshall,  in 2015.
