Muirhall Energy was delighted to welcome local MSP for Clydesdale, Aileen Campbell to its HQ in rural South Lanarkshire. The Scottish Government Minister for Children and Young People met with the team and heard of the company’s plans for growth over the next 12 months.

Commenting on the visit, Managing Director Chris Walker said:

“It was a real pleasure to host Aileen Campbell MSP at Muirhall Farm and for us to outline our ambitions. In the past 11 years we have grown our wind farm portfolio from single turbine developments to proposed wind farms with installed capacities of up to 82MW. We are making significant and positive impacts in local economies throughout Scotland.”

He added:

“We are committed to working with local businesses to help deliver our wind farms and we spoke with Mrs Campbell about the £5M of contracts that we have already awarded to other organisations in and around South Lanarkshire – just from the development of Muirhall Windfarm alone”.

Visiting the site of the proposed Muirhall South Windfarm Mrs Campbell MSP said:

“It’s great to see the passion and commitment of the team at Muirhall Energy and to hear of their support for other local businesses. Muirhall Energy is contributing positively to the local economy through job creation, supporting the local supply chain and also through their work in developing clean sources of energy for the next generation.”
